Refunds, DataSportAPI
RefundsOur position, stated before you pay rather than after.
We do not refund automatically, and we say so before you pay rather than after. The reason is the free key: it reads the same data for yesterday, on every sport and every endpoint except live and fixtures, so there is nothing about the coverage, the shape or the quality of this data that you have to pay to find out. Trying it costs nothing and needs no card.
What we do return
Everything else is looked at case by case
Not refused outright, and not granted on demand. Send what happened and we will answer honestly. "It was not what I expected" is a fair thing to say and we will hear it, but the free key exists precisely so that expectation can be tested first.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here removes a right you have under the law where you live. If your jurisdiction gives you a right to cancel or a right to a refund, you have it, whatever this page says. We would rather state that plainly than bury it, because pretending otherwise would be both wrong and unenforceable.
Chargebacks
We dispute them, and we can, because every request is logged against the key that made it. Somebody who pulled the archive steadily for three weeks and then charged back is a different case from somebody who called twice, found a gap and gave up, and the log tells those two apart.
If something is wrong, ask us. A chargeback costs us a fee and costs you the account, and in almost every case the thing you actually wanted was for the data to be fixed.
Cancelling
From your account, whenever you like, and it takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Nothing is deleted: the account drops to the free key and every key you hold keeps working on yesterday's data.
Who charges you
The service is operated by DeveloperData.net. Card charges appear as DEVELOPERDATA.NET. Billing questions: developerdata.net/support?tab=charge.
This is the whole of it. If something here is unclear, that is our fault and worth telling us about.
