How fresh the data is, sports data API
How fresh the data isEvery answer says how fresh it is.
| Kind of call | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Live scores | 10 seconds |
| Fixtures and cards | 2 minutes |
| Results | 5 minutes |
| A record | 30 minutes |
| Search | 60 minutes |
| Lists of competitions, courses, tracks | 6 hours |
meta.as_of is when the data itself was built. meta.cached and meta.age_seconds say whether you got a stored copy and how old it is, and the X-Cache header says hit, miss or stale. A stale copy is served only while fresh data is not answering, so you get the last good answer rather than an error.
Uptime for each sport is on the status page.
